11 teams delivered fate in final FFA Cup qualifier

The Football Federation Victoria have completed their FFA Cup Quarter-Final draw, with the 11 remaining clubs moving closer to the national stage.

Only one game from this point on separates the remaining sides from a berth in the FFA Cup Round of 32, in what will arguably be their most important fixture of the season.

With three games still remaining in Round Seven of the FFA Cup, there’s still the potential for eight NPL Victoria top flight teams to make up the Quarter-Final pot.

Richmond SC in action against Kingston City tomorrow night and the winner of that fixture will travel to Hume City for the opportunity to play in the FFA Cup proper.

St Albans Saints and Port Melbourne Sharks do battle on Wednesday night at mutual venue Knights Stadium for the chance to play Melbourne Knights for a spot on the national stage.

North Geelong Warriors and South Melbourne also play on Wednesday night, with the winner set to face Bentleigh Greens, in what promises to be the showpiece fixture of the round.

Green Gully host Bulleen Lions in the final match up of the Quarter Final, in a guaranteed all-NPL Victoria match up.

The four matches will be live-streamed by the Football Federation Victoria, the first matches to be broadcast for the 2016 domestic season.

Hume City FC vs. Winner of Richmond SC and Kingston City (Tuesday, May 31st)

Melbourne Knights vs. Winner of St Albans Saints and Port Melbourne Sharks (Wednesday, June 1st)

Bentleigh Greens vs. Winner of North Geelong Warriors and South Melbourne FC
