It was a first ever W-League goal for 15-year-old MelindaJ Barbieri, as she steered home a powerful effort from a tight angle, helping the Melbourne Victory earn a come-from-behind 2-2 draw against Western Sydney Wanderers. In that same very game, Englishwoman Natasha Dowie grabbed her first goal for the club with a powerful finish, while Melbourne City’s Beattie Goad grabbed her second of the season in the 1-0 win over the Newcastle Jets.
