Nunawading City have announced the late acquisitions of Patrick Gerhardt, Jagajeet Shrestha, Dan Gathercole and Chris Antoniadis.

Gerhardt is the four-time Liberian international who was Melbourne Knights’ big signing for the 2017 NPL Victoria.

Having had a a professional career that spanned six nations, he notably won league and cup honours, plus Champions League qualification, with Bosnian Club Željezničar Sarajevo.

His A-League stint with Melbourne Heart yielded 40 appearances and one goal between 2012-14.

However he departed after just three appearances with question marks raised over his fitness.

He joins an ex-A-League list including James Brown, Jason Trifiro and Mitch Cooper looking to propel the side away from a relegation threat, sitting just one point above last-placed Richmond.

Antoniadis spent last season with Dandenong City SC, scoring seven times in 26 appearances, and has previously plied his trade at Sunshine George Cross.

He joins his brother Sam at Nunawading for the remainder of the 2017 NPL Victoria season.

Shrestha joins Nunawading after 16 games and four goals for the Georgies.

The diminutive midfielder was at SL2 outfit Hume United in 2016, where he made his Australian club debut.

The 24-year-old formerly plied his trade with homeland clubs including Himalayan Sherpa Club, Friends Club and Three Star Club, and has had trials in Germany and Poland.

Gathercole meanwhile returns to the club where he played as recently as 2016 before a stint at Western Suburbs.
