Pascoe Vale’s forward line next season will have two new faces following the addition of South Hobart’s Darcy Hall, who follows former Melbourne Knights man Jacob Colosimo’s move to Paco earlier in the off-season.

Hall was part of a South Hobart side which claimed Tasmania’s League Cup in 2016. Records show his statistics as standing at eight goals in 32 games in the past two seasons at the club.

He also played for a Tasmanian representative side against Melbourne City’s youth team in a friendly before the youth league season, scoring in the Tasmanians’ 2-1 win.

His other experience with Victorian football was in 2014 when he was part of a South Hobart side that lost to South Melbourne in the national finals.

A well-known South Hobart alumni was Hall’s former teammate Andy Brennan, whose move to South Melbourne proved a catalyst for earning an A-League contract with Newcastle Jets.

Meanwhile, Colosimo’s arrival comes after a career at Melbourne Knights that yielded 114 appearances and 29 goals over two stints.

A popular figure at Somers Street, he made his debut for the club in 2009 under then-manager Chris Taylor. A breakthrough 2011 saw score 10 times in 17 league games.

Colosimo was however, troubled by injuries and spent a lengthy period on the sidelines in 2014.

He spent half of the 2015 season with Avondale FC, where he played 13 games and netted five times, before returning to the Knights.

Pascoe Vale had also previously announced the re-signing of custodian Alex Pavlidis for 2017.

The former NPL2 (then NPL1) goalkeeper of the year made 47 appearances with Box Hill United between 2013-14 before making the switch to Paco in 2015, where he has currently played 40 games.

He also famously spent time on the bench of A-League outfit Melbourne City – a club where he worked in a backroom capacity – as an injury replacement for Tando Velaphi in 2015.
