NPL players in FIFA 16 – Ratings

EA Sports’ newest edition of their hit franchise FIFA 16 was available for early access yesterday morning and with its release, we got our first look at some of the new A-League player ratings.

Melbourne Victory’s Thomas Deng and Lucas Spinella, Melbourne City’s Wade Dekker, as well as former Heidelberg United and South Melbourne attackers Dan Heffernan and Andy Brennan all appear in this year’s copy of the video game for the first time.

Central Coast Mariners’ Dan Heffernan has received the highest overall out of all the players, given a 58 – out of 99 – rating, notably given good stats for his strength and jumping, while also handed 3* weak foot, 2* skills and the power header trait.

Andy Brennan – listed as a striker who can also play left wing – was given a 57 rating at Newcastle Jets with plenty of good physical stats helping his cause, albeit his technical stats leave a little more to be desired.

Victory pair Thomas Deng (53 overall) and Lucas Spinella (50 overall) also both feature – Deng rostered as a right back has decent pace and some promising defensive stats.

Spinella on the other hand was given the ‘traditional’ save style and 3* weak foot.

Finally, former Northcote City man Wade Dekker comes in at a 55 overall with good potential on the game, given 2* skills and weak foot and some decent pace and finishing.

None of the five players unfortunately feature in the franchises most popular game mode FIFA Ultimate Team.
