Six goals in the final three league fixtures sees South Melbourne’s Milos Lujic wrap up a fourth consecutive Golden Boot award in yet another stellar individual season. Lujic finished the season on 25 league goals, his best ever individual return in the Victorian top flight, with tallies of 18, 22, 21 and now 25 in his past four seasons. The highly impressive Dusan Bosnjak nabbed 20 goals from midfield, while Kenny Athiu could’ve pushed for top honours were it not for injuries, in the end finishing in a respectable third with 17 goals. Jonatan Germano finished with 14 goals, which were all nabbed in the second half of the season.
