How’s pre-season going? Where have you been with the team?
Pre seasons went well we are all fighting for spots. I had a slow start to the pre season recovering from injury but now raring to go.
What have the club’s pre-season results been?
North Geelong 4-0, Sunshine GC 1-0 and 2-0, Dandenong Thunder 1-1, Saint Albans 2-0, Kingston 2-1, GVS 4-0, Ballarat 6-0. Our pre season has been very positive results wise, but we focus more on the performances and structures.
How are the new signings settling in?
New signings are settling in well. Got quite a few new faces and are all a great bunch.
Who are the Green Gully players to watch in 2017 (new or existing) and why?
Player to watch would be Matt Breeze who missed all of last year, a player who has a lot to show.
Who are the some of the bigger characters off the pitch and why?
We got a few characters on the team, standouts would be Jay (Davies), Callum (Richardson) and Breezy for the decent banter
How’s Arthur Papas been preparing the squad?
Arth puts a lot of effort into making sure the squad is organized, disciplined and focused on our goals for this season.
Which team/player are you most looking forward to facing this year?
Round one against Bentleigh Greens
Which opposition club(s) have impressed you most in pre-season?
Haven’t really taken note on how other teams have been performing.
What are the expectations/objectives in 2017?
Objectives are to make another run in the cup and win the NPL championship.
What’s one headline we may see about Green Gully this season?
I hope ‘Undefeated’
