South Melbourne have added former Brisbane Roar midfielder Luke Pavlou and ex-Velez Mostar defender Ajdin Fetahagic to their senior squad, with the duo joining fellow Queenslander Jesse Daley as new arrivals at Lakeside Stadium.

Former Roar youth product Luke Pavlou is the second Roar youth to join South alongside Jesse Daley, with the central midfielder featuring for Brisbane City in the Queensland NPL this year under the guidance of John Kosmina.

A central midfielder by trade, the 20-year-old made his senior debut with junior club Eastern Suburbs in 2013 before progressing into the Roar Youth team the following year.

He would go onto make his senior debut for the club in an A-League fixture against the Melbourne Victory in April 2015, before backing it up with another substitute appearance in the final round’s 2-1 win over the Newcastle Jets, before departing the three-time A-League champions at season’s end.

The other new arrival to the Lakeside Stadium dressing room is 19-year-old Ajdin Fetahagic, who joins the four-time NSL champions after winning the Brisbane Premier League with Lions FC.

A Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) graduate, the defender joined Ipswich-based NPL side the Western Pride at the beginning of the 2015 campaign, making 10 league appearances.

He departed Australia mid-season by joining Bosnian Premier League side Velez Mostar, having initially trialled at league runners-up Zeljeznicar.

He returned to Brisbane this year and made 17 appearances for the Lions, scoring two goals as the club then went on to defeat Mitchelton in the Grand Final.
