The Springvale White Eagles have welcomed back Vojislav Milojevic after the winger parted company with Avondale, while midfielders Stojan Milojevic and Milan Jovanovic also return to the club.

A junior at the club, Milojevic made his Springvale debut in 2011 as a 16-year-old in a 5-1 defeat to Northcote City as the White Eagles were relegated from the top flight.

A subsequent relegation from the second tier followed in 2012 before the attacking winger played an integral part in helping the club win back promotion, as Zed Mihajlovic’s claimed the State League Two title in 2013.

Following the club’s acceptance into NPL1 in 2014, Milojevic had a standout season which saw him claim 10 goals in 25 games while also winning the NPL Rising Star of the Month award for April.

He then accepted an offer to join Anthony Barbieri’s side ahead of the 2015 NPL season, however injuries curtailed his time at Doyle Street Reserve, with the 21 year-old only making his debut in the club’s penultimate fixture of the season – a 5-1 demolition of the Oakleigh Cannons.

Milojevic returns to White Eagles Stadium having made 10 appearances for the club, and comes back to one where he featured 65 times, scoring 12 goals.

Also re-joining him at the club is his older brother Stojan Milojevic – the 23 year-old confirmed his return to the squad following a lengthy injury lay-off, with the central midfielder briefly captaining the club last season having made his senior debut in 2011 as well.

Another player returning to the club is 19-year-old midfielder Milan Jovanovic, who spent the first half of this season playing in the South Melbourne 20s.

Having made his senior debut for the club in 2014, the central midfielder scored his maiden league goal in a 1-1 draw against the St Albans Saints at Churchill Reserve.

He featured prominently throughout 2015 and in total made 35 appearances under former coach Mihajlovic in a side captained by his older brother Simo, who is now at Kingston City.

Jovanovic made his first appearance back at Springvale off the bench in their Round 13 defeat at home to Dandenong Thunder and is expected to provide further depth to Nik Kovacevic’s young squad.
