South Melbourne have made Tiffany Eliadis their inaugural signing of the NPLW Victoria campaign, with the attacking midfielder returning to her former stomping ground where she became one of the most well-known names in Victorian football.

She makes the switch from Southern United, where she spent a campaign under Stuart Munro in the top flight.

Still only 21 but with years of experience behind her, Eliadis made her debut with South as a 14-year-old during the 2010 season in the Women’s Premier League.

Her most fruitful spells came in 2013-14, taking out the league best and fairest and golden boot double back-to-back, making history in the process.

She scored 29 goals over the 22-game home-and-away-season in 2013, backing it up with 24 goals in 2014 before Melbourne Victory W-League duties came calling.

In total she made 15 appearances for Victory between 2012 and 2015.

Eliadis departed after the club’s 2015 WPL grand final victory after it wasn’t selected in the new NPLW Victoria competition, making the move to Southern United for their inaugural campaign in 2016.

However an injury-protracted campaign meant she only managed six goals for Munro’s side.

She returns to Lakeside following the announcement that head coach Socrates Nicolaidis had also re-committed terms to the club, his third campaign since arriving in 2015.
